Mission 3:Methodology/Product

"

"PRODUCT"

Radio became popular in the 1920s, and many scientists we're trying to understand how they can make radio waves, transmitters, and receivers real.
The famous Italian inventor Guglielmo Marconi was successful in sending a radio signal across the Atlantic using the South East coast of Ireland.
In the 1920s the first radio station in the USA was KDKA, and this radio station had been used for the presidential election.

In 1922 the demand for radio increase, it was estimated at  $60 million a year. There were different types of radio; small and big, with different amounts, a minimum of $8, and a maximum of $300.
In the 1920s everyone preferred to listen to the radio: news, music, soap operas, children show for 15 minutes, sport, fiction, and advertising; food, medicins, soft drinks, and cars.

Year by year the radio industry are taking up new technological forms: such as broadband, mobiles, podcast and so on.
Radio is still the mass media that reaches the widest audience in the world.
It has a strong impact on emergency communication and disaster relief.
Radio is the most efficient media for educating and informing the people what's going on around the world.
The role of the radio emphasizes the importance of political, social and cultural life in the countries.
Let's trust Radio!
Let's restore our trust in the news by radio, print or online.

Considering the fact that in the '40s the role of radio became an invaluable means of communication.
During World War II, radio  played a big role in the war front period. People around the world using the radio to know what's going on in the war front and awaiting the news with a deep breath.
They were trusting the radio. Looking back we can compare" before and now" how are the people behaviour changed towards media, radio broadcasting.

Gradually the radio channels improved, and their task became to attract their audience, to understand their needs and interests, and choose the right topic for them.

Radio broadcasting is the most efficient media for educating and informing his listeners of what’s going on in the world.
Radio users can listen to music, news, and stories, it's like a virtual contact between radio reporter and listener.
And I am sure that all the radio listeners want to trust the news, the stories that they heard through the radio every day in a car, at home, and at the office.

It is very important to choose the right person who will talk with his audience, clear text, nice voice, and trust again, it's very important when your audience trusting you.
It means the contract between you and your audience are working in harmony.
People have an unspoken contract with radio broadcasting.
Public and digital journalism must trust each other.
When we are hearing in the morning by radio about today's weather forecast, we are trusting them, or when the strong hurricane is approaching, we want to know is there a necessity to prepare for evacuation or not, we are still trusting media, radio.
It's very important to trust radio broadcasting.

Mission3:Methodology/Reflection

Digital Journalism "Reflection" When we started this mission I thought we are going to make our own video using our theme.   Then, our lecturer Mr.Shaun explained how we must organize our work.   For me, it should be Clear, Concise and Consistent.  Our group worked very hard, but the hardest work did Rosie, to be honest. As the project should be looked at as one product, and everything should look coherent, Rosie helped us to put it all together. She is the best team member I have ever met. We used the following tools to create our product Adobe Premiere Pro, StoryMap, audio, and music part as well. As we are talking about Digital Journalism, we should also mention the main principals of it: Print, Radio, and TV included Interactive Journalism.  In our product, we also talked about how people are celebrating Christmas around the world, and what special traditions they have on that day. Now, looking at the ba...
