Personal Data Tracking

"REFLECTION"

As we finished our teamwork, I learned more about how to protect against online trackers who are everywhere and easily able to access and manage people's privacy․

I didn't know that by collecting people's personal data, they were selling to companies․ This mission helped me discover several facts ։ As a parent, I am using the Family link app and tracking my kid's online behaviour and I know its legal. I can control the amount of time my kids are spending online, using this app I can see their location and I can block any unknown apps that they are trying to download. It is very important.

The next more important and meanwhile very hard thing is how to control the teenager's online behaviour. I did some researches and I found out this app which called SPYSIE.

It's a good app, you can see what your children are doing online, what websites they are interested in and with whom they are talking. Again, you are tracking their online behaviour.

I know many teenagers are fun of online fighting games, and online trackers are knowing it. I never heard about Discord app, which can track what the teenagers are doing during the games, are they chatting with teenagers or the adults? what type of conversation they are having and, if it is safe or not.

Continuing my researches, I got some apps that can control your healthy lifestyle: fitness app, healthy diet app, sleeping & mediation app but never heard about quit smoking app, which helps you not only to quit smoking but also helping you to save money.

I asked my friend to put his weekly routine in the data visualization chart. As he was trying to quit smoking, he did it. Looking at the chart you can see that he was smoking 1 cigarette per day when he is doing fitness. Which is progress, right?

Continuing to talk about online trackers, I met some disadvantages as well. Medical records: when we are going to the hospital and signing the form about the privacy policy, we are thinking that all the information is confidential.

But not for online trackers. They can get all your medical information and send it to the third party. It's Illegal!

The same for the Bank details. Rich people are keeping their money on Offshore banks, Cypress for example.

Social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, online trackers can see all your online behaviour,  famous people, politicians, celebrities are not always happy to share their private life with all.

Mission 3:Methodology/Product

" "PRODUCT"   Radio became popular in the 1920s, and many scientists we're trying to understand how they can make radio waves, transmitters, and receivers real. The famous Italian inventor Guglielmo Marconi was successful in sending a radio signal across the Atlantic using the South East coast of Ireland. In the 1920s the first radio station in the USA was KDKA, and this radio station had been used for the presidential election. In 1922 the demand for radio increase, it was estimated at  $60 million a year. There were different types of radio; small and big, with different amounts, a minimum of $8, and a maximum of $300. In the 1920s everyone preferred to listen to the radio: news, music, soap operas, children show for 15 minutes, sport, fiction, and advertising; food, medicins, soft drinks, and cars. Year by year the radio industry are taking up new technological forms: such as broadband, mobiles, podcast and so on.  Radio is still the mas

Mission 1/Creativity/Product

Creative Coding...! "Product" Continuing our teamwork and discussing all aspects of it, first of all, we need to concentrate and delivered good products working hard and using our time rationally and effectively.  As we were decided to make a web page, by the way, it was the first time that we were doing it, so we should manage our time as I said effectively.     So, we divided our tasks into three parts and eventually made it a whole. I had to submit a web page where I had to include a poem, a picture, and a summary of it all on the web page .  Before starting my researches, I should have focused on the main product, in this case, it was a poem. But to add a poem to the web page would not be interesting, and to make it more attractive I had to add an image that would appropriate the poem, as I chose a poem about the famous artist Hovhannes Ayvazovski 9th of the Wave, written by one of the most famous Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan.
